Robert Pattinson will appear as Edward Cullen in Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final movie in the Twilight series. While at the Cannes International Film Festival, Pattinson confirmed today to The Hollywood Reporter that he is committed to starring, but doesn’t know when production will begin. The cast and crew are currently filming New Moon, which will be released in November, and then moving right on to shooting Eclipse in October.

In the book version of New Moon, Rob’s character Edward Cullen plays a voice in Bella’s head. However, he revealed the screen adaptation will have more Edward than just a voice. “You’re playing a figment in Bella’s imagination so I was trying to do it in a 2-D way. I hope it doesn’t translate onscreen as being boring.”

In addition to his busy schedule full of Twilight commitments, Robert has plans to star in another Summit production, Remember Me, about a man who spends six weeks after meeting someone working out if he is in love or not.

       Paulina Porizkova announced on Craig Ferguson’s The Late Late Show that she has been let go as a judge on America’s Next Top Model. The model announced that not only was she let go from the show, but she was fired  over the phone on her birthday! “Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles… because I am looking for a job,” she told The Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson on Tuesday night’s show. “Because I was fired by America’s Next Top Model on my birthday, they timed it well.”

Paulina added that it didn’t matter who did the actual firing, but alluded to the fact that ANTM might have some budget problems. “But the reason I was fired, just to be fair here, the reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed that America’s Next Top Model had gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me,” she told Ferguson.

       The Associated Press reported the Rob Lowe lawsuits between the actor and a former nanny were dismissed Tuesday, according to one of the actor’s lawyers. Lawyer Larry Stein did not provide any additional details on the topic. Lowe filed a lawsuit in April 2008 claiming his children’s nanny, Jessica Gibson, demanded $1.5 million to keep quiet about sexual abuse allegations.
One week later, Gibson filed a countersuit against Lowe and his wife, Sheryl, claiming the Brothers & Sisters star groped her and exposed himself several times between September 2005 and January 2008.  Gibson’s attorney did not comment to the AP. The Lowe’s have vehemently denied Gibson’s allegations.
The battle is not over for the actor however. Lowe will face another nanny, Laura Boyce, in court Nov. 16.

According to Us magazine, Redmond O’Neal was formerly charged with a felony heroin possession earlier this week  in L.A. The 24-year-old son of actress, Farrah Fawcett  and actor, Ryan O’Neal was arrested on Sunday for attempting to bring the drug inside a jail in Castaic, Calif.
As of right now he remains in custody on $75,000. He will be arraigned on April 24. O’Neal and his father were arrested last September in their Malibu home on suspicion of meth possession.
O’Neal pleaded not guilty to those drug charges on March 25. Ryan pleaded guilty and was ordered into an 18-month drug treatment program. All of this going on while Farrah Fawcett is recovering from complications from a medical procedure to treat her anal cancer, which, recently spread to her liver according to her doctors in a statement issued Monday.

       Usmagazine.com has confirmed Madonna’s application to adopt Chifundo “Mercy” James, 3, was turned down by a Malawi judge Friday morning in court.  The judge cited requirements that adoptive parents reside in the country for 18 to 24 months. Madonna, 50, can appeal against the order. She adopted David Banda, 3, in 2006 without meeting the residency requirements, which caused outrage by non-governmental groups that felt she was using her celebrity status to bend the law.
Judge Esme Chombo had been expected to sign off on the adoption at Lilongwe High Court. “We support her adoption process,” Information Minister Patricia Kaliati said yesterday. “Madonna’s been good to us. She’s supporting over 25,000 orphans in this country, and she’s proved she can take care of David.”
Mercy’s uncles, Peter Baneti and John Ngalande, signed off on the papers Monday. They were also present at Madonna’s pre-adoption party at the luxe Kumbali Lodge Thursday night. “Mercy is now assured of a good education away from the abject poverty of our village,” Baneti told Us yesterday. “Madonna has assured us she will not cut her ties with us.”
Madonna’s lawyer Alan Chinula told Us Wednesday: “I am not sleeping sleepless nights over this. I don’t see any law in Malawi that can stop this adoption.” Chinula told Us the residency restriction law is over 50 years old and “archaic.”

         Now that Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have tied the knot, it seems the supermodel is more than ready to stake her claim on his love child with ex Bridget Moynahan. The newlywed told Vanity Fair that she feels that John Edward Moynahan is hers, “I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that. But to me, it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child I feel it is, 100 percent.”

Bridget gave birth to John in 2007 and by then her former boyfriend, Patriots quarterback Tom, had moved on to Gisele’s loving arms. She’s never met the Brazilian beauty.  “I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day,” Gisele reveals in the interview.

“He’s a little angel – the sweetest, most cuddly, loving baby. I feel blessed to have him in my life,” she adds.  That little angel was a shock at first for Gisele, who had been dating Tom before they found out his ex was expecting. “It was definitely a surprise for both of us,” she says. “In the beginning, you’re living this romantic fantasy; you’re thinking this can’t be true, it’s so good! And then, whoops – wake-up call!”

Josh Hartnett is in the hospital this morning, after a 911 call came in at 12:53 a.m., TMZ reported. The actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital early this morning, complaining of abdominal pains. The ambulance picked him up at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. He wasn’t carried in on a stretcher; however, he was able to walk to the transport on his own. Hopefully the actor is doing well and further updates will be posted as they are reported

     Though Rihanna is taking time apart from Chris Brown, she is not spending it with Bromance star Frankie Delgado, he told People magazine, at least not in a romantic sense.  Despite rumors circulating on the Internet, Delgado said he and Rihanna are “just friends” Saturday while attending the grand opening of Wet Republic, the pool party at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Delgado, who has starred in MTV’s The Hills and Bromance, believes the chatter got started because “she’s been out, hanging out, I guess. It’s Hollywood, people talk a lot.”  Asked how she is doing, his reply was only, “She’s good.”

Though Rihanna, 21, and Brown, 19, reconciled and were together in Miami and L.A. after he was charged with assaulting her, a source told People magazine that “they are taking a break.”  The singer recently returned to L.A. after a trip to New York City, where she had business meetings and spent time with her manager, her mentor Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Brandy.

“She is looking forward to getting back to work and focusing on her career again,” a New York source told the mag, adding that Rihanna’s trip was also designed to help her “clear her mind and take things one day at a time.”

                         Add Holly Madison to the list of injured Dancing With the Stars competitors. She was experiencing pain before performing on this week’s show, and while rehearsing for the tango on Thursday, the pain got significantly worse. She received medical attention and a broken rib was ruled out.
“While she is not suffering from a broken rib, she does continue to feel a great deal of discomfort and was prescribed pain medication,” Madison’s rep told Usmagazine.com. “She is committed to the show and her partner, Dmitry and will rest when she can. She fully hopes and, at this time, expects to dance on Monday.”
Madison complained of having bruised ribs this week and hoped that she wouldn’t have to do the elimination round’s dance-off. She did in fact have to dance against Denise Richards in Tuesday nights dance off. Madison signed on to compete in DWTS after replacing Jewel, who suffered a dancing-related injury before the show’s premiere. Nancy O’Dell also dropped out of the competition before it even began due to injury. Other contestants, including Steve-O and Steve Wozniak, have also suffered physical injuries this season. Who will the DWTS curse strike next?

          Former Grey’s Anatomy star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 42, recently found out that he has a child with actress/producer Sherrie Rose, Us Weekly revealed. “Yes, I have a 4-year-old son with Jeffrey,” Rose tells Usmagazine.com.
A source adds that the Watchmen star learned of the boy a few weeks ago and has since met him. “He’s shocked and surprised, but he wants to be in the child’s life,” the source told Us magazine.
Rose is an ex-girlfriend of Morgan’s. The actor is also known for his relationship with his former fiancé, Mary-Louise Parker. They began dating in 2006 after meeting on the set of her Showtime series, Weeds, but she called off their engagement in April 2008.
