Britney Spears First Interview Promoting Her Album

Britney Spears spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show and it was very interesting to say the least.
I just finished listening to it and I have to say that it was strangely nice to hear her speak for herself in trying to make some sense of all the "crazy."

It was so enlightening hearing Britney, Alli Simms and her new guy friend/bodyguard/whatever he is, on the phone laughing when Ryan Seacrest first started the interview. It was like what's his name was trying to stir up the "crazy" in Brit.

Alli, out of the three seems more stable and sounds like she's got a good head on her shoulders. However, I think she makes excuses for Britney and enables her to be...well...mental - for a lack of a better word. At one point Ryan asks if Britney's doing the best for her boys and she replies, "Oh God yeah, yeah," and that was the end of the interview so "Alli The Enabler" took over and said she's in the shower. Yeah - O.K.

Hilary Swank and Oprah Doing Some Good

As you already know - I love talking about celebs "Doing Some Good" and Hilary Swank along with Oprah Winfrey are the next to be added to my little series.

Can you believe that Hilary let Oprah take the scissors to her own head and cut her long locks? It was for a good cause - Pantene Beautiful Lenths. It is "an initiative dedicated to supporting and encouraging women who have lost their hair during cancer treatment." We love the idea of this!!

Hilary Swank told Oprah,

"I've been growing it for the last six months to donate my hair," Swank says. "I've been taking a lot of vitamins and taking really good care of it, knowing that it would go to a woman in need."

Common (Yummy!) Is MTV's Artist Of The Week!!

Common has the honor of being listed as Artist of the Week on MTV and we think he definitely deserves it.

I believe that Common is probably the classiest rapper in the world and his smooth sound mixed with how long he's been in the game (since 1992)demands respect from not only the fans but also his peers in the music industry.

I have admitted to having a huge crush on Common and it's true that I do adore him. How can you not - just look at him? Dee - Lish!!!

Britney - #5 Unsexiest Woman Alive!!

Please don't be alarmed by this surprising news that Britney Spears is ranked no.5 as being the must unsexiest woman in the world, according to Maxim. Keep in mind that at one time in her life - not too long ago, she was wanted and desired by everyone.

There is something to be said about showing a little bit of skin rather than exposing all your goods and still appearing sexy. I understand that we really didn't think her outfit in these pictures was a costume for Halloween because we've seen all her junk before. I think it would have been scarier if for Halloween she had dressed like a nun. That would have been a shocker!!

The moral of this post is; Wear your panties ladies and leave a little to the imagination - right Britney?

Lindsay Lohan Made The Right Decision

Lindsay Lohan was "contractually obligated" to host the New Year's Eve Party at LAX in Las Vegas according to x17. Not the best place for someone just coming out of rehab and trying to put their life back in order.


Well, being the new drug-free Lindsay that we're so enjoying, she made the wise decision to back out of her obligation in order to steer clear of any temptations. Good girl, Lilo!!!

We like you better sober and clean - sporting that healthy glow! We couldn't be prouder of this girl and the changes we've seen!! Do you think it's her new hunky man that's helping??

The Old Victoria Beckham Is Back!!

You know, I'm really liking Victoria Beckham's darker hair color. It's reminiscent of her younger years with the Spice Girls and I've heard it was a decisive move to go back to her roots for her fans.

I wasn't crazy wild for The Spice Girls but this time around I have to say I'm anticipating their comeback. So, "LayDdee's Eyes" will definitely be excitedly waiting and watching.

Heather Mills (Paul McCartney's Ex) - Suicidal

We all know about Heather Mills and Paul McCartney's very public divorce played out for the world to see. Because of the simple fact that Paul really is America's idol, Heather has reaped the backlash of the ugly details shown in the media.

On GMTV, Heather spoke emotionally according to The Daily Mail stating that because of the publics hatred for her she has even contemplated suicide. Heather goes on to say that there is,

"a box of evidence that is going to a certain person if anything happens to me.” Later in the interview she adds, “I considered killing myself because I thought if I am dead, she [my daughter] can be safe with her father."

You know what? - I don't have a problem with Heather Mills - I mean, she's not really my favorite person. Honestly, I really find this interview interesting because it seems that this really is a desperate cry for help. The girl needs to get some serious anti-depressants (of course I mean prescription drugs) or something. I think that we're dealing with a woman who is on the edge. It's always sad, no matter who it is or how much you dislike someone to see them digress like that. Maybe Dr. Phil will see the interview and reach out to her because she needs it.

What? - Sabrina Eliminated From DWTS??

Were you as shocked as I was last night when Sabrina Byran was eliminated from Dancing With The Stars? Where were all the Cheetah Girls Fans who should have voted her through?

I don't think she deserved to go home at all. Jane Seymour should have, even though she's had a tough go at it on the series and has gained a lot of sympathy votes, her dancing is not as entertaining and energetic as Sabrina.

Did you notice how shocked the judges were and obviously upset about the decision? Sucks!!

I also want to bring your attention to the near make out session between Sabrina and her partner during the farewell dance after the announcement. Luvas??? I don't know but this is what she had to say about him,

"I’m happy Mark and I now get to just be friends, to know each other and not have the stress of the show.”

To the faithful readers you all know how much I can't stand when celebs say they're "just friends" but something tells me she meant something much deeper than that.

Jane Seymour Absent From Dancing With The Stars

Jane Seymour was a no-show on Dancing With the Stars because she has food poisoning, according to TMZ. We are not sure what she ate but I bet it wasn't one of Britney's frequent fast food places. Jane's too classy for that.

Jane "Medicine Woman" Seymour hasn't had it easy since being in this dance contest. First her mom passes and now this. I think she should win just on sympathy votes. Don't you think that's fair?

Robert Goulet (singer) Has Died

Robert Goulet known for his large voice, acting roles on Broadway and magnetic personality has passed on. He had been in a Los Angeles hospital awaiting a lung transplant.

Robert had a rare form of pulmonary fibrosis and Tuesday morning he passed on. According to USA Today his wife said, Goulet "remained in good spirits even as he waited for the transplant."

KFed Keeps Kids - Britney's Visits Monitored

According to TMZ Britney Spears has not regained custody of her two boys. She will have them two times a week(noon to 7pm), one overnight stay and these visits will be monitored.

The Commissioner (Scott Gordon) reported that the parenting coach complained that "during all three of my visits Ms. Spears rarely engaged with the children in either conversation or play."

That makes my heart sad because they need Britney's involvement in love and play. I really hope once again that this is a big wake up call for her.

What's better than watching Britney eat at Taco Bell or spraying the paparazzi with her windshield fluid?(Taylor's Entertainment News) Reporting on celebrities reaching into their full pockets to benefit others who are in need.

The rich and famous gathered together "to raise money for the G&P Foundation for Cancer Research" last night at the 10th annual Angel Ball. They raised $5 million dollars last night! Don't you just love it?!!!

So many turned out for the event - too many to name but here are a few: Kelly Ripa, Joss Stone, Petra Nemcova, Chace Crawford (yummy), Ashanti (love her) and May Anderson.

We all know the controversy continually surrounding Britney Spears and the court custody battles that seems to be never ending. But when it comes to the troubled pop star promoting herself and selling albums - she's a genius.

I think that Britney knows exactly what she's doing to stir up a buzz concerning her new album 'Blackout.' And thanks to Extra we were able to obtain these new pictures from her CD and one in particular is Britney sitting provocatively in the confessional booth with the priest.

It's reminiscent of Madonna's scandalous video 'Like A Prayer' where she kisses a statue of a saint in a church wearing only a brown slip. Controversy and scandal means platinum records in the music industry and I really think that Britney's album will be at the top of the charts.

It's amazing that Britney can play "crazy' and still have the following that most artists only dream about. Enjoy these pictures of Britney doing what she does best.

Tommy Lee's Taking the High Road

Everyone, of course remembers the incident involving Kid Rock punching Tommy Lee during the VMA's right? Well according to People Tommy Lee has decided not to press charges.

We're not sure if it was because they're both fathers and want to save the kids from watching that unfold in court or it was because there were no injuries on either of them. Whatever the reason, I have to say I'm really impressed with Tommy Lee making a decision to handle it maturely.

We'll see if Kid has this kind of luck as he has to face misdemeanor charges stemming from the Waffle House brawl.

Talented Talan Dishes On Lauren

Who knew Talan Torriero would have enough talent to stretch out his 15 minutes from Laguna Beach? Remember - he was the cutie who flirted around with Kristin Cavallari and was buddies with bad boy Jason Wahler. Well, according to People he has more than a few movies coming out in the near future.

Talan tells People that he is good friends with Lauren Conrad and that all her success is well deserved. Hmmm, maybe Lauren should hook up with him. He also says that his closeness with Jason Wahler is no longer because of some of the bad choices he's made.

She was there attending Dave Rastovich’s annual Dolphin & Whale Cove Peaceful Demonstration. We love anything to do with dolphins but we're hoping that she doesn't start turning into some of the other socialites now that she's found fame on her new show Heroes.

Someone Needs To Tell Renee Zellwegger

I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to notice the drastic change in Renee's appearance lately and honestly it's quite disturbing.

I'm concerned that Renee Zellwegger is unable to see any reflection of herself because of how small her slits are. And can anyone tell me what she has hiding in the cheek pockets of her mouth? Who was her inspiration when she went to the hairdressers for that unfortunate short haircut - perhaps it was lesbian KD Lang.`

At any rate someone needs to tell her that the look is all wrong and there is help out there for her such as plastic surgeons and hair extensions. I'm really concerned for the once adorable actress - hope Renee gets the help she needs.

Nicole's Naughty For Smoking

According to the NY post Nicole Richie who is pregnant and soon to be married to rocker Joel Madden has been caught smoking on two different occasions. If this is indeed true I wonder what she must be thinking and how she could justify it.

It makes you wonder if she really is ready to have this baby.

Oprah's Response To Alleged Abuse At Girls' School

We've waited to report about the alleged abuse charges against staffers at Oprah's girls school in South Africa because we wanted to hear what she had to say.

According to Us Magazine, Oprah was emotional on Sunday when she spoke to the parents of the girls saying, "I've disappointed you. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." The parents offered comfort by saying that they don't blame her and it's not her fault.

Oprah gave the parents all her contacts so they could reach her at anytime. The principal and one other staffer have been put on leave. Oprah "has also hired her own investigators, in addition to the South African police and the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses Unit who are on the case."

I feel so bad for the victims and ache for Oprah. She was "Doing Some Good" and then something as horrific as abuse happens to these young girls. Of course, our hearts and prayers go out to all that were affected.

So many times we have heard throughout the Internet that Zac Efron has broken up with Vanessa Hudgens or Vanessa has kicked Zac to the curb. But whenever we see the two together lately, they've been cozy and cute with each other.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt always appear as characters for the paparazzi so what makes it special that they would do the same thing for Halloween?

They need to get their fix from the paparazzi and the photogs are more than pleased to fill their need for attention.

It's the same thing every time. They pose like they're at their high school prom, then they kiss to show everyone how in love they really are and finally Spencer continues to stare into the photo lens while Heidi looks at him adoringly. Same shots every single time.

Can you believe Pretty Woman, Julia Roberts is 40? She is an amazing talent who has everything she could ever want in life - three children, a loving husband and being the highest paid actress in Hollywood. I really think she is one of the true classics in the industry who is sincerely content with her life and to that we say, Kudos to Julia. Happy Birthday!!

Speaking of MTV - they've been under the gun ever since the VMA's. Kid Rock blaming MTV for the fight by inviting Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson. Justin telling MTV to play more videos and Britney saying that she was set up for failure on the award show. Is MTV trying to stir up trouble and controversy for ratings? Are they hurting that bad that they want to make up reality shows?

We want the raw stuff that was given to us back when The Real World was really real!! If it's not a reality show then say that in the credits. We'll still watch if it's giving us the same kind of entertainment. No more tricks MTV - give us the real stuff!!
