It happens almost every season on Dancing with the Stars, and this time around it’s partners Karina Smirnoff and Aaron Carter debunking the buzz that they’re getting cozy off the dance floor.  “It’s really funny,” Smirnoff, 31, told PEOPLE after Monday night’s performance. “The rumors are that we are hooking up but then we’re not sexy enough on the dance floor (according to head judge Len Goodman)? Let me tell you, if that was the case, the dance would have been very raunchy, as Len wanted it to be.”

For Carter, 21, the rumors are off the mark from what’s really happening between the two of them: a budding friendship. “We have a lot of respect for each other and I have a lot of respect for her,” he says. “She’s a lady and I’m going to treat her like that. She just went through a breakup so it’s important to respect her.”

As her older sister Kourtney gets ready to welcome her first bundle of joy, reality TV beauty Kim Kardashian is revealing her desire to be a mom too! In a new blog post, Kim writes:  ”Kourtney and I went baby shopping last week! It’s really fun but you have to stay neutral when you’re shopping for a baby and you don’t know what the sex of the baby is!”  She goes on to write: “I want a baby,” adding, “Ok, so maybe not right now, but I can’t wait to be an aunt!”

Rumors are swirling that Melrose Place alum, Heather Locklear might be joing the cast of Melrose Place 2.0. According to People magazine Locklear is in negotiations to repraise her role as Amanda Woodward, star advertising exec and resident bad girl. If all goes right Locklear will be the 5th member of the original cast to hop aboard. Thomas Calabro (Michael), Laura Leighton (Sydney), Josie Bissett (Jane) and Daphne Zuniga (Jo) have all already signed on.

“D List” star Kathy Griffin stepped out with Bristol Palin’s ex-fiance Levi Johnston Sunday evening.  Levi — the father to former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s grandchild — escorted Kathy to the “Teen Choice 2009″ awards, ET confirms. Kathy tells ET that she wanted to bring a teenager to the awards ceremony.

Seems like Vanessa Hudgens hasn’t learned her lesson the first time around. There have been another batch of scandulous pictures circulating the web of Hudgens. The pics were apparently taken before her first nude photo scandal erupted nearly two years ago. “She learned her lesson,” a source said. “She hasn’t done anything like that since the first ones came out. These new ones are actually old.”

The self-proclaimed Mr. Miley Cyrus is spending some time behind bars.  An obsessed fan of Mily Cyrus claims to be secret bethroved the Disney Pop Princess.  Mark McLeod aka Mr. Miley Cyrus, 53 has been taken into custody for attempted stalking after they found McLeod on the set of her latest movie.  Last month McLeod was sent to prison for disorderly conduct after he trespassed on the set of the film claiming he was her betrothed.

The cast of the Harry Potter series are not just set for life, but they are set for a life full of luxury.  Thanks to a reported $20.1 Million paycheck for Emma Watson will never have to worry about splurging for a nice pair of Burberry sunglasses.  Sources say Watson is rather smart with her money; the majority of her earning are tied up in investments.  That doesn’t mean she couldn’t buy herself a $5 million London townhome or a $1.4 million ski chalet in Meribel, France.  Let’s just say the rest of them are doing just fine too.

Reports have been swirling that the former Alaskan govenor, Sarah Palin and her husband are heading toward a divorce due to extrmarital affairs on both sides. However, a rep for Palin firmly denied the reports and allegations.

Hills star, Heidi Montag announced she will be joining the Playboy family this year. Little has been said regarding the upcoming cover shoot, however Montag’s sister, Holly had some insight for us. ”She’s not nude,” her sister Holly Montag told Usmagazine.com Monday at Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Classic in Coto De Caza, Calif. “Her Maxim cover was so gorgeous and tasteful, and I know Playboy is going to be the same. It’s really cool that she can be part of the Playboy family. I love it. I go up there all the time and play poker. I love the girls there, and it’s very cool to be a part of that legacy.”

 It looks like American Idol may lose one of its judges. According to numerous reports, Paula Abdul has yet to sign on for the ninth installment of the hit Fox show. ”Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on Idol,” Abdul’s manager, David Sonenberg, who has yet to receive a proposal for her return, told The Los Angeles Times. The new season is set to premiere in January.
