Actor Joey Lawrence and his wife Chandi Yawn-Nelson welcomed there second child yesterday. The couple had a daughter, Liberty Grace. The little bundle weighed in at 6 pounds 8 ounces. Lawrence also has a 3 year old Charelston (Charlie) with his wife Chandi.

Former Seinfeld star Jason Alexander is ready to slim down. The 50-year-old signed on to be the latest celebrity spokesperson for Jenny Craig. Sylvester Stallone broke his neck while filming a fight scene in his latest movie. The veteran action hero had emergency surgery and a metal plate inserted in his neck following the accident on the set of The Expendables.

The 63-year-old actor was filming a fight with wrestling co-star Stone Cold Steve Austin, 45, in the upcoming movie, but it was so realistic that Stallone ended up with a hairline fracture in his neck.

Rihanna may be busy with the launch of her new album, but she took some time out to vacation with her new guy, LA Dodgers player Matt Kemp. According to a source the pair were introduced by mutual friends.  “Rihanna wants the world to know that she is happy with Matt,” says an insider. So far, things between them are looking good.

Uma Thurman and her fiance, multimillionaire Arpad Busson, have called it quits. A source close to the couple confirms they split almost two months ago.

“Uma and Arki are still friends,” the insider says.The couple announced their engagement last June after Busson gave Thurman an eight-carat diamond surrounded by 20 smaller stones. Thurman, 39, and Busson, 46, were rumored to be wedding this past April, but those reports proved to be false.

Singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb gave birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles on November 29. She and her husband, Roey Hershkovitz, named their brand-new bundle of joy Lyla Rose. Lisa and Roey, who is the music production supervisor for The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien, married on January 31, 2009. This is their first child.

The 26-year-old German model who allegedly tried to extort $100,000 from Cindy Crawford has turned himself in to the cops. Edis Kayalar who has been charged with one count extortion, walked into a police station in Germany yesterday. As previously reported, Kayalar was threatening to sell a photo of Cindy’s daughter which showed her bound to a chair and gagged. Kayalar faces two years in jail. He’ll appear before a judge later today.

They may look like the model family, but Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber are facing a not-so-perfect problem. According to court papers, the former supermodel and her entrepreneur husband were the victims of an extortion plot involving a controversial picture of the couple’s 8-year-old daughter, Kaya, taken by a former nanny. According to a rep for the family, the photo was taken without Cindy’s consent. A friend of the child’s former caretaker, Edis “Eddie” Kayala, has been charged with one count of extortion after he demanded $100,000 from the parents. “Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford intend to pursue any and all available legal action against anyone who aids the perpetrator in the distribution or sale of the photograph of their daughter,” the rep adds. The couple also has a 10-year-old son.

Tiffani Thiessen and her husband, artist and actor Brady Smith, are expecting their first baby next May, her rep told PEOPLE exclusively.  “We are over the moon!” the couple said in a statement. “It’s something we’ve wanted for a long time and we are thrilled that it’s actually happening.” Thiessen, 35, and Smith have been married since 2005.

Kirstie Alley is shedding the pounds — and gaining a reality show! The actress, who recently confessed to ballooning to her highest weight ever, will document her latest battle of the bulge on an A&E series to air next year. “Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she’ll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras,” A&E’s Robert Sharenow says of working with Kirstie. The former Cheers star strutted her brand-new bikini body on Oprah in 2006, but three years later, admitted that she had gained nearly 85 pounds. “I really want to inspire again,” she says.
