
Gwen Stefani is an artist and a fashion designer too. Lead vocalist in the rock band ‘No Doubt’ that alternated between new wave and punk rock music, she tasted success for the first time with her super duper hit album ‘Tragic Kingdom’ in 1995. Her first solo album ‘Love. Angel. Music. Baby.’ was released in 2004 and swept across the international music field. In 2005, at the World Music Awards, Gwen Stefani was awarded the title of the ‘World’s Best-Selling New Female Artist’ for her music and peppy videos.
Apart from music, Gwen Stefani also made a name for herself as a trendsetter in fashion. In 2004, she launched a fashion line called L.A.M.B which was patronized by celebrities like Nicole Kidman and Teri Hatcher. Next to be launched was the Harajuku Lovers line, which reflected Japanese fashion and culture. In addition to this, Gwen Stefani also released an exclusive but limited edition of dolls named after her first solo album, a perfume named ‘L’ and a fragrance line that has five unique and different fragrances.
Gwen also had a stint in the world of movies where she debuted in Martin Scorsese’s motion picture ‘The Aviator’ in 2004. Her acting won her a nomination in the Screen Actors Guild Awards in the category of ‘Outstanding Performance by Cast in Motion Picture’.
Gwen Stefani’s recent No Doubt concert at Auburn’s White River Amphitheatre was high on energy, and she made good her promise to her fans to deliver a super hit show again. The jam packed audience kept pace with the super star and sang the lyrics of classics like ‘Spiderwebs’, ‘Don’t Speak’, ‘Just a Girl’.
