She is socialite Paris Hilton’s best friend and also played the lead role along side her friend in the Fox reality series ‘The Simple Life’. In 2005, she and Paris Hilton had a falling out with each other, which was much publicized by the media. However, a year later they kissed and made up with each other.
Nicole Richie has appeared in guest roles in many TV series including ‘Eve’, ‘Six Feet Under’, ‘American Dreams’, ‘8 Simple Rules for dating my Teenage Daughter’, and ‘Chuck’. Apart from being a television personality, she has also tried her luck in movies and writing.
Nicole Richie made her debut in the motion picture ‘Kids in America’. In 2008, she was offered the role in the hit musical ‘Chicago’ but eventually nothing came of it.
