The former American Idol judge announced on her Twitter page Monday night that she’ll be hosting VH1 Divas next month. “Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year’s “Vh1 Divas”! The show will be live on Sept 17th @ 9 pm EST,” Paula Tweeted. “This year’s VH1 Divas show will honor Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus- I am so excited!!” Paula continued. The show will air live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music Howard Gilman Opera House in New York.
A source says that teen pop icon, Miley Cyrus was spotted getting awfully close to a new guy last week. Last Wednesday, Cyrus was seen with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth a Nashville airport, the two kissed – and were “full-on making out,” says Alex Emanuel, a New York actor who was a few feet away from the couple and saw Cyrus, 16, act “as giddy as a schoolgirl.” Hemsworth jumped out of Cyrus’s truck with his luggage and headed for the terminal doors when “she jumped into his arms and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him and leaned back and he was dipping her,” says Emanuel. “It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy’s getting on a train and they’re saying their goodbyes.” The two actors recently wrapped the film The Last Song (also starring Kelly Preston and Greg Kinnear) in Tybee, Georgia, and attended the film’s wrap party together on Aug. 16.
Lindsay Lohan’s Hollywood Hills home was broken into early Sunday morning, her rep confirms “Many of her personal belongings were taken without remorse,” the rep says. “Lindsay and her sister Ali Lohan were fortunate that they weren’t in the home when this incident happened.” The rep said Lindsay’s home has a surveillance system and “police are in custody of the footage.” Her father Michael calls the burglary an “inside job” in an interview with RadarOnline.com.
Rumors are swirling that Melrose Place alum, Heather Locklear might be joing the cast of Melrose Place 2.0. According to People magazine Locklear is in negotiations to repraise her role as Amanda Woodward, star advertising exec and resident bad girl. If all goes right Locklear will be the 5th member of the original cast to hop aboard. Thomas Calabro (Michael), Laura Leighton (Sydney), Josie Bissett (Jane) and Daphne Zuniga (Jo) have all already signed on.

Michael Jackson’s personal physician will be charged with manslaughter within the next two weeks, FOX News reported. A police source said Dr. Conrad Murray could be arrested as soon as next Wednesday. Fox News reported that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is currently in talks with investigators about whether they will offer Murray the option of surrendering in Los Angeles, or if he will be arrested in Houston, where he is currently staying. Murray reportedly told investigators he administered a fatal dose of the anesthetic propofol to Jackson in his rented Beverly Hills mansion in the hours before his June 25 death.
