Michael Douglas has broken his silence about his son Cameron’s recent arrest on drug dealing charges. According to a statement from Michael’s rep: “The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron’s recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be.” Cameron, who was caught with methamphetamines, is currently behind bars at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, after violating the terms of his home detention by allegedly asking his girlfriend to smuggle heroin to him inside his mother Diandra’s NYC apartment. A preliminary hearing is set for September 10. If convicted, Cameron faces a minimum of 10 years in prison.
Actor Jerry O’Connell’s latest role….law student! O’Connell has just enrolled at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. O’Connell said, “I had always planned on continuing my education at some point and because my wife is working…and I’m with the girls, I figured I would take a couple of classes at night,” O’Connell said.

Actress Sara Rue is getting married. Rue, who is starring in the new show Eastwick, announced that she and her boyfriend, Kevin Price got engaged just 9 days ago. Rue shared the story of how and where the engagement took place. They were in Malibu having a nice dinner, “as the sun was setting they brought the bill. I said Let me treat you to dinner because you planned the whole day. An he said No, I’m going to get dinner because it be weird if I let you pay since I’m about to ask you to marry me.”
Watchmen star Patrick Wilson has become a father for the second time. He and his wife of four years, actress Dagmara Dominczyk Wilson, welcomed their second son on Sunday, August 9. The couple named their newborn baby boy Kassian. They also have a 3-year-old son, Kalin.
“D List” star Kathy Griffin stepped out with Bristol Palin’s ex-fiance Levi Johnston Sunday evening. Levi — the father to former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s grandchild — escorted Kathy to the “Teen Choice 2009″ awards, ET confirms. Kathy tells ET that she wanted to bring a teenager to the awards ceremony.
Daniel and his model wife, Joanne, announced the birth of their daughter, Finley Rae Martineau Baldwin, on August 7. The 7-pound, 10-ounce baby arrived at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA, and joins 18-month-old big sister, Avis Ann. Daniel, brother of fellow actors Alec, Stephen and Billy, has three other children from previous relationships.
Molly Ringwald and husband of two years, Panio Gianopoulos welcomed their beautiful baby twins Adele Georgina and Roman Stylianos on July 10th. “It is exhausting, but it is wonderful,” comments Ringwald, 41. Ringwald was so dedicated to her acting career, that the writers of The Secret Life of the American Teenager fit her pregnancy into her role.
