Shanna Moakler began to model at the age of fifteen. She won the Miss New York USA pageant in 1995 and was crowned first princess in the Miss USA competition. When the winner became Miss Universe she went on to replace her as Miss USA.
For a time classy pictures of Shanna Moakler appeared in a number of magazines such as Cosmopolitan, but in 2001 she signed up with Playboy and raunchy pics of her became more commonplace than discreet modeling shoots. Shanna Moakler has appeared in a number of movies and television programs too.
Shanna Moakler married Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and had two children with him. In 2006 the couple split though the relationship seems to constantly be on and off and possibilities of a reunion are still not out of the question. Shanna Moakler was the director for the Miss California competition but stepped down in objection to Carrie Prejean retaining her title even though she entered under false pretences. Now that Carrie is fired Shanna is requesting that she get her position back.
